Center seam knife sheath

I was asked by the Capt. if I could make up a center seam sheath for a smaller knife that he wanted to carry. I have never made one before so I jumped at the chance to try and make one. After watching a video I went to work and came up with this.

I don't think it came out to bad for the first try!

I used 4/5oz. veg.tanned leather and sewn it with a heavy waxed linen thread, dyed a dark brown and rubbed in with bee's wax.

I also made up this small blade cover for a new ax of his. I used a ax of mine to make up the cover.
